Activities - Farmyard

Sondela Nature Reserve is not only a wildlife conservation area but also still a working farm and as such a large number of farm animals and farm implements are to be seen on the farmyard.

The delightful laughter and obvious thrill of the young children who flock to feed the various farm animals during feeding times are a pleasure to see. From milking cows to petting the tame sheep or admiring the boastful display of a peacock's feathers, the farmyard offers young kids an experience which they will not easily forget.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at Piccinni's Bistro or a cup of coffee under the spectacular Maroela tree while watching your young children enjoying themselves at the Farmyard.
