Volunteer Program
If you are between the ages of 18 and 25, free and adventurous, and if you dream
of working with sick, injured or orphaned wild animals, like to work with young
children, and are keen to learn something new - Sondela Nature Reserve - a prime
nature reserve in the malaria free Northen region of South Africa - has the answer for you!
Sondela has compiled a volunteer program were you will learn about our animals while helping
us to ensure abandoned, injured and neglected animals have a safe haven of care available to them when needed.
Your help is vital to enable us to care for these animals; there are numerous duties that have to be performed
to enable us to run the centre and farmyard to its optimum.
Volunteer experience & duties include:
- Caring for Wild Animals
- Hand-rearing Course
- Bush Cooking
- Game Capturing
